This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the rules and prohibited behaviors when using the Ego Events Media Group (“The Ego”) platform. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to comply with this AUP.


1. General Platform Conduct

Users must:

  • use the platform for lawful purposes only
  • comply with all applicable local, national, EU, and international laws
  • behave respectfully with vendors, clients, agents, and platform staff
  • provide truthful and accurate information
  • respect platform functionality and security

2. Prohibited Activities

Users may not engage in:

2.1 Illegal or Fraudulent Use

  • identity fraud
  • booking manipulation
  • fraudulent chargebacks
  • money laundering
  • tax evasion
  • impersonating another user or vendor

2.2 Platform Interference

  • hacking or attempting to hack the platform
  • bypassing security or access controls
  • scanning vulnerabilities
  • injecting malicious code
  • disrupting platform operations

2.3 Misuse of Communication

  • harassment or abuse in chat
  • sending spam or unsolicited promotions
  • attempting to move users off-platform for private deals (except where approved by vendor)

2.4 Data Misuse

  • scraping user or vendor data
  • extracting listings or contacts for external use
  • reselling or commercializing platform information

2.5 Unauthorized Use of Content

  • copying vendor photos
  • duplicating vendor descriptions
  • reposting content without rights
  • misappropriating branding or intellectual property

2.6 Rating & Review Manipulation

Users may not:

  • post fake reviews
  • coordinate mass ratings
  • trade reviews for incentives
  • threaten vendors with negative feedback
  • leave reviews having never used the service

3. Vendor-Specific Restrictions

Vendors must not:

  • misrepresent their services
  • publish inaccurate pricing
  • provide misleading availability
  • upload copyrighted media without permission
  • offer illegal services
  • attempt to contact clients outside the platform to avoid booking fees
  • refuse communication with clients after booking

4. Sales Agent Restrictions

Sales Agents may not:

  • present themselves as employees of The Ego
  • present themselves as representatives of a Vendor
  • pressure vendors into membership purchases
  • falsely advertise service benefits
  • manipulate affiliate tracking
  • use unethical referral tactics

All commissions are regulated solely by The Ego.


5. Protection Against Harassment & Abuse

Any of the following behaviors may result in account termination:

  • threats
  • insults
  • abusive language
  • discriminatory content
  • blackmailing or extortion
  • defamatory statements

The Ego promotes a respectful and professional environment.


6. Security Requirements

Users must:

  • protect login credentials
  • not share accounts
  • not allow unauthorized access
  • immediately report suspicious activity

Passwords must be personal and confidential.


7. Reporting Violations

Users may report misconduct at any time to:

Reports may result in:

  • warnings
  • temporary account suspension
  • permanent ban
  • legal action if applicable

8. Enforcement Actions

The Ego reserves the right to:

  • edit or remove harmful content
  • restrict platform features for certain users
  • freeze or disable accounts
  • block abusive IP addresses
  • cooperate with law enforcement agencies

Enforcement decisions are final and at The Ego’s discretion.


9. Liability Disclaimer

The Ego is not responsible for:

  • actions of platform users
  • vendor-client disputes
  • damages resulting from user misconduct
  • off-platform interactions

Each user is responsible for their own behavior.


10. Policy Changes

This AUP may be updated periodically. Continued platform usage indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
