Welcome to Ego Events Media Group (“The Ego”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Definitions

“Platform” refers to www.egoeventsmediagroup.com and all associated services and functionalities.
“User” means any individual or organization that uses or accesses the platform.
“Vendor” means any entity that lists services and/or products for sale or booking on the platform.
“Sales Agent / Affiliate / Partner” means a user who participates in the internal affiliate or sales incentive program operated by The Ego.
“Client” means any user who books or purchases services from vendors through the platform.
“Services” include vendor listings, discovery, marketplace exposure, booking mediation, payment processing facilitation, and platform-enabled communication.

2. Nature of the Platform (critical legal clarification)

The Ego operates as a neutral booking and marketplace intermediary.

We do not act as:
event organizer,
event contractor,
vendor employer,
vendor representative,
legal contracting party in bookings.

Contracts, purchases or service agreements are concluded exclusively between Client and Vendor.

For clarity:
The Ego does not provide the vendor services listed.
Vendors are independent third-party providers.
The Ego is not a party to any agreement between Vendor and Client.

3. Vendor Memberships & Sales Agents

3.1 Vendors

Vendors may list services on the platform by purchasing a membership.
Membership fees are paid to the platform for exposure and listing services only.
Membership does not guarantee bookings, leads, or sales.

3.2 Sales Agents / Affiliates

The platform may include Sales Agents who promote:

vendor memberships,
vendor services,
vendor listings.

All commissions earned by Sales Agents are:
determined solely by The Ego,
paid only by The Ego from its internal revenue,
not paid by vendors.

Vendors do not have a contractual or payment relationship with Sales Agents and cannot set, modify, negotiate, or approve commissions.

4. Booking and Payment

Bookings may require advance payments or deposits as determined by each vendor.

Payments for bookings are processed via WooCommerce and its integrated payment gateways. The Ego acts solely as a technical intermediary, processing payments on behalf of the Vendor.

All prices displayed on the platform are expressed in EUR (Euro) as the standardized display currency unless otherwise specified.

Each Vendor is responsible for issuing invoices in their respective billing currency (e.g., EUR, RON) and for compliance with applicable tax obligations.

The Ego does not invoice on behalf of Vendors.

5. Booking Confirmation Models

Vendors may choose how their services are booked:

Instant Booking
The booking is automatically confirmed once payment is processed.

Booking Request / Approval-Based Booking
The booking remains pending until the vendor approves it.
No binding obligation exists until approval is issued by the vendor.

Vendors are solely responsible for maintaining accurate availability and calendars and for responding to approval-based bookings.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies are set individually by each vendor.
Clients must review the vendor’s specific conditions before booking.

The Ego:
is not responsible for enforcing vendor refund policies,
is not liable for vendor-client disputes,
does not issue refunds from its own accounts,
does not mediate refund transactions unless explicitly stated otherwise.

7. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:
provide accurate information,
not engage in fraudulent activity,
not misuse the platform.

Any abuse may result in suspension or legal action.

8. Vendor Content Responsibility

All service descriptions, photos, pricing, availability and contractual conditions are provided directly by Vendors.

The Ego:
does not guarantee accuracy, authenticity or reliability of vendor information,
is not responsible for the quality, availability, or execution of vendor services.

9. Intellectual Property

Platform branding, software architecture, design elements, UI, database structure, and internal features belong to The Ego.

Vendor-uploaded materials remain vendor property. Vendors grant The Ego a non-exclusive license to display, promote, and distribute their listings on the platform.

10. Sales Agents Commission Clarification

Sales Agents do not act as:
representatives of vendors,
employees of vendors,
contractors of vendors.

Sales Agents participate exclusively in The Ego’s internal promotional system.

Commissions:
are awarded and calculated solely by the platform,
are paid only by the platform,
are not deducted from vendor revenue.

Vendors cannot compensate Sales Agents, either directly or indirectly.

11. Liability Limitation

The Ego is not liable for:
acts or omissions of vendors,
failure of vendors to deliver services,
disputes between clients and vendors,
calendar errors or vendor availability mistakes,
force majeure or technical failures.

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” with no warranties.

12. Privacy and Data

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of Romania.
Legal jurisdiction lies with the competent courts of Romania.

14. Modification of Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
