By using the Ego Events Media Group (“The Ego”) platform, you agree to these General Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.

1. Eligibility

To use our platform, you must:

Be at least 18 years old, or have legal capacity under applicable laws.
Be capable of entering into binding agreements.
Use the platform only for legitimate purposes related to event services, vendor discovery, booking, or professional interaction.

We reserve the right to deny access or service to any user at any time, without notice, for violating these terms or engaging in misuse, exploitation, or fraudulent behavior.

2. Use of the Platform

By using our platform, you agree to:

Use the platform exclusively for lawful purposes.
Respect the functionality, integrity, and security of the system.
Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform, user accounts, or systems.

You may not:

Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, extractors) to harvest data or listings, unless expressly permitted by The Ego.
Post or submit unlawful, misleading, defamatory, abusive, exploitative, or copyrighted content without permission.
Impersonate other individuals or entities.
Manipulate vendor ratings or reviews.
Attempt to interfere with platform algorithms, listings, calendars, or visibility.

3. Account Responsibility

When registering an account:

You must provide accurate, truthful, and current information.
You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of login credentials.
You are responsible for all actions taken under your account.

The Ego is not liable for account misuse caused by user negligence (e.g., shared password, unsecured access, etc.).

If unauthorized account access is suspected, you must notify us immediately.

4. Vendor Listings and Third-Party Services

Vendors listed on the platform operate as independent service providers.
The Ego does not guarantee:

the availability, accuracy, quality, reliability, pricing, or performance of vendor services.

The Ego is not a contracting party in the transaction.
The legal service contract exists exclusively between the Client and the Vendor.

Clients must review vendor profiles, descriptions, communication, and policies before booking.

We reserve the right to suspend, edit, or remove vendor accounts or listings that:

violate platform rules,
are fraudulent or misleading,
have repeated verified complaints,
or compromise trust and safety.

5. Booking Model and Availability

The Ego enables two booking models:

Instant Booking
Booking is automatically confirmed upon payment.

Approval-Based Booking
The booking remains in a pending state until the Vendor manually confirms it.

Until confirmation by the Vendor:

no binding service contract exists,
no final guarantee of service execution exists.

Vendors are solely responsible for maintaining accurate availability calendars and responding to approval-based reservations.

6. Reviews and User Content

When you submit reviews, feedback, uploaded images, or text:

You grant The Ego a royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, publish, or distribute that content.
You confirm that the content:

is genuine and experience-based,
does not defame, harass, or mislead,
does not violate intellectual property rights or privacy rights.

The Ego may moderate, edit, hide, or delete content that:

violates these terms,
is fraudulent or abusive,
or damages the platform’s integrity or public trust.

7. Availability of the Platform

We strive to provide a smooth and uninterrupted user experience.
However, we do not guarantee:

continuous uptime,
bug-free performance,
compatibility with all devices and browsers,
zero technical interruptions.

Service outages, maintenance operations, update deployments, or external technical failures may affect platform accessibility temporarily.

The Ego is not liable for disruption-related losses.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ego Events Media Group and its representatives from all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

your misuse of the platform,
violation of these terms,
false or unlawful content posted by you,
breach of confidentiality or third-party rights,
or disputes you enter into with vendors or clients.

9. Relationship Clarification

Using the platform does not create:

employment,
partnership,
agency,
joint venture,
or franchise relationship
between you and The Ego.

Vendors are not employees of The Ego.
Sales Agents are not representatives of Vendors.
The Ego is not a party to vendor-client contracts.

10. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the platform:

at any time,
without prior notice,
if you violate these terms,
or compromise platform integrity or security.

Termination does not preclude The Ego from pursuing legal remedies or reporting misconduct to authorities if required.

11. Governing Law

These General Terms of Use are governed exclusively by the laws of Romania.
