Sales Agent / Affiliate Agreement | The Ego – Global Event Booking Platform

This Agreement governs participation in the Sales Agent / Affiliate / Referral program of Ego Events Media Group (“The Ego”).
By enrolling or operating as a Sales Agent, you agree to the following terms:

1. Definitions

“Platform” — www.egoeventsmediagroup.com
“Sales Agent / Affiliate / Partner” — user who promotes Vendors or Memberships
“Vendor” — service provider listed on the platform
“Client” — user who registers or books through the platform
“Commission” — fee paid to Sales Agent by The Ego

2. Independent Contractor Status

Sales Agents operate as independent individuals.
This Agreement does NOT create:

employment relationship
agency relationship
legal representation right
partnership or joint venture

Sales Agents do not speak on behalf of The Ego.

3. Scope of Activity

Sales Agents may:

promote Vendor memberships
recommend the platform to new Vendors
promote Vendor services to potential Clients
share affiliate or referral links

They may NOT:

present themselves as employees of The Ego
negotiate prices on behalf of The Ego or Vendors
create official offers or discounts not approved by The Ego
make legal promises on behalf of Vendors or The Ego

4. Commission Earned

Commissions are:

determined exclusively by The Ego
calculated based on platform-defined models
paid only by The Ego from its own internal revenue
not paid by Vendors directly
not negotiable with Vendors

5. Commission for New Vendors (Membership Referrals)

When a Sales Agent brings a new Vendor to the platform:

The Sales Agent receives a ONE-TIME commission
Commission may be expressed as % of first membership payment OR fixed amount
Commission is paid only once per Vendor acquired
No recurring commissions on Vendor renewals unless explicitly stated

6. Commission for Booking Referrals

If a Sales Agent refers a Client to a Vendor service:

commission may be paid per each completed booking
commission may be percentage-based or fixed
only paid once the booking is confirmed and not cancelled
and only after payment is successfully processed

7. Commission Payment Timelines

Earnings are paid:

after validation
after fraud check
after booking or membership is considered legally complete
within the payout schedule defined by The Ego

The Ego may withhold payment in cases of:

dispute
suspected fraud
chargebacks
vendor complaints
improper conduct

8. Affiliate Transparency

Sales Agents must:

use correct and official communication
avoid aggressive solicitation
not mislead potential Vendors or Clients
clearly identify themselves as independent promoters

9. Prohibited Conduct

Sales Agents may NOT:

impersonate platform staff
pressure Vendors or Clients
make promises of profit
invent false success statistics
guarantee bookings
claim guaranteed earnings
share private vendor or client data

10. Confidentiality

Sales Agents may have access to:

strategy
marketing methods
platform data
insights

They must not:

disclose
duplicate
share
exploit
or sell

any confidential information.

11. Account Removal or Termination

The Ego may suspend or terminate Sales Agent accounts if:

policy is violated
fraudulent referrals occur
reputation risk is identified
repeated complaints are received
aggressive or misleading sales tactics are used

Commission may be withheld in cases of misconduct.

12. No Right to Claim Vendor Income

Sales Agents understand:

they have no ownership over Vendors
they cannot claim repeated commissions unless explicitly stated
they cannot request payment from Vendors directly
they cannot interfere with Vendor operations

13. Legal Liability

Sales Agents indemnify The Ego against claims arising from their actions, including:

misrepresentation
false advertising
unauthorized claims
illegal promotional methods

14. Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by Romanian law.
Any disputes shall be settled in Romanian courts.

15. Acceptance

By registering or acting as a Sales Agent, the user agrees to these terms.
